SITEOPS is patented, revolutionary technology for land development, combining evolutionary computation, cloud computing, generative design, and operations research. We have included definitions of these terms below.
SITEOPS optimization uses an array of powerful servers, capable of handling highly complex algorithmic functions to consider thousands to millions of combinations of layout, grading, and piping options for a site. Although some functions of SITEOPS are actually performed on your local computer, the difficult "heavy lifting" computing required by cost optimization would be far beyond the reach of even today's fastest desktops, laptops, or typical office servers.

Definition of Terms:
Evolutionary computation is a subfield of artificial intelligence involving combinatorial optimization problems.
Cloud computing is a term for Internet-based technology, "cloud" being a metaphor describing the abstract nature of the Internet. Information is stored on servers and accessed by individual users via their computers. Software-as-a-Service, or SaaS, is included in this concept.
Generative design describes a way in which simple forms, patterns, or objects can be automatically combined and modified using an algorithm. In the SITEOPS system, constraints are placed on the possible outcomes by the user (typically, a civil engineer).
Operations research is a discipline of applying advanced analytical methods to help make better decisions. Our patented technology is likely to become the industry standard for resolving land infrastructure issues.
