Mike Markovitz

Executive Vice President of Business Development

From early 2005 to early 2011, Mike Markovitz served as Vice President of Portfolio Development at Bentley Systems, Incorporated, a leading global infrastructure software company dedicated to providing architects, engineers, constructors and owner-operators with comprehensive solutions for sustaining infrastructure. In this role, Mike developed business partnerships and led several acquisitions with the main goal of strategically expanding Bentley’s portfolio of infrastructure software to address both user needs and market expansion.

Prior to his work at Bentley Systems, Mike was president and founder of RAM International. Founded in 1988, RAM International became a leader in the design and development of software productivity solutions for structural engineers and was acquired by Bentley Systems in 2005. RAM International products included software tools for engineering modeling, analysis and design.

Earlier in his career, Mike worked on the development of several major engineering software packages in both the structural and mechanical software industries. He holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Phoenix as well as a B.S. and a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics, respectively, from California State University at Chico.
